Call for Nominations to the Board of Directors

The Canadian Blind Sports Association is seeking nominations for the following positions on the board of directors:

Officers:

• Communications Director (elected in odd years for a two year term)
• Finance/Administration Director (elected in odd years for a two year term)

Board Members:

• Sport Technical Director (elected in odd years for a two year term)
• Fundraising/Marketing Director (elected in even years, therefore this will be for a one year term and then the election next year (2008) will be for a two year term)

Note that two of the officers, the President and Vice President, are elected in even years for two year terms and the current President and Vice President are serving the first year of their first term. (This is according to the decision of the membership at the December 2006 SGM when the bylaws were passed).

Inquiries should be forwarded to the Executive Director, and/or to the chair of the nominating committee.
